  • Angie Bortz
    Director of Marketing & Public Relations

    Angie Bortz

    Angie handles the public relations and marketing needs of the office. She dedicates time to the community from the planning of events and fundraisers to the creation of our advertising, educational events, seminars and materials.

    Angie was born and raised in Central Florida with roots also stemming from Southeastern Wisconsin, where she attended high school and later studied marketing and real estate brokerage. She moved back to Central Florida with her husband and two children in 2006 and has called Brevard County her home since 2009. She has worked in the healthcare field most of her life, and truly enjoys the wellness approach to healthcare. Angie also has a passion for marketing and community involvement, which has shown through her work as a territory marketing representative for an MRI facility in Orlando, school fundraising territory manager, luxury property leasing agent, and medspa marketing director. Angie enjoys spending time with her husband and two wonderful children as well as researching treatments & cures for muscular dystrophy (MD), shopping, cleaning, researching just about anything, movies and most of all - hearing the positive stories patients have to say about Chiropractic!

  • Matthew Duffy
    Office Manager / Spinal Rehabilitation Therapy Technician

    Matthew graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota. During his time at the University of Minnesota Matthew participated in the pre-physical therapy program and completed over 500 hours of Physical Therapy volunteering and training experience. Matthew also worked with the Human and Sports Performance Laboratory in the school of kinesiology. He provided exercise testing and training services to elite athletes from a variety of amateur and professional organizations. For the last five years Matthew has been working as a personal trainer with an emphasis on functional training, corrective and rehabilitative exercise, and overall health and wellness. Matthew has also spent time as a strength and conditioning coach providing training services and programs for elite youth hockey and figure skaters. Matthew currently holds certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in Personal Training and as a Corrective Exercise Specialist.

    Matthew Decided to move to Florida to focus on a career in rehabilitative therapy and to start a family. Matthew’s goal is to help others regain proper function and improve their overall quality of life. When Matthew isn't working, he enjoys fishing, boating, golfing, playing hockey and softball, and traveling.

  • Kimberly Taft
    Administrative Assistant / X-Ray Technician

    Kimberly is a second generation Florida native; born and raised in Brevard County, Titusville. After getting her Associate in Arts degree from EFSC she spent two years in Syracuse, NY but decided it was too cold for her! After moving home she moved to Merritt Island to attend Eastern Florida State College's X-ray Tech program and became a licensed Radiologic Technologist in 2012. Kimberly has held a variety of jobs including Instrument Tech in an OR, Assistant Manager in the Field Ops department of the Brevard County Property Appraiser and Waitress. She is excited about being a part of this team and enjoys seeing patients realize the wonderful, healing benefits of Chiropractic care.

    In her spare time Kimberly enjoys gardening, organizing, traveling, visiting Disney and spending time with her family in Titusville.

  • Shannon Anderson
    Administrative Assistant

    Born in the rolling countryside of Virginia, Shannon moved to Orlando, Florida in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Central Florida in 2015. Shannon is new to the area as she currently resides in Titusville with her family since January of 2017. Shannon has worked in an array of fields including cosmetics, photography, and customer service. She hopes to one day be a published author. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys singing and playing guitar, playing video games, and driving out to Playalinda when she gets the chance to enjoy the sand and sun. Shannon is a great asset to the practice. She greets each patient as they arrive for their appointment, checks patients in and out, and assists in other departments, as needed. Shannon is excited to be a part of the Brevard Chiropractic & Injury Center team as it has been an eye-opening experience for her to witness the benefits of chiropractic care every day.

  • Daniel De La Garza
    LMT
    Massage Therapist

    Daniel De La Garza was born in Columbus Georgia and raised as an Army military dependant. Later settling in San Antonio, Texas where he claims as his hometown. Daniel now claims Melbourne as his home were he retired at Patrick AFB from active duty Air Force after 22 years of service in Medical Logistics. He attended and graduated from Keiser College with an AS in Massage Therapy in February 2006 then became licensed in Massage Therapy in May 2006, both nationally and state certified. Daniel is also a member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA) since 2005 and in 2008 received LMT Service Award of the year for FSMTA Brevard County. 

    Since massage school he has worked with Physical Therapists in rehab centers in Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach with physically and mentally handicapped persons to date. He later continued his education towards the medical aspect of massage therapy to include Electro-therapeutic Point Stimulation (ETPS/electric acupuncture), Fibromyalgia, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Hot Stones, Bamboosage, and Reiki. Currently he is working on his certification for Medical Transcription and soon for Physical Therapy aide. Dannys hobbies include reading, clowning, theatre, music, movies, and of course his children. Daniel is delighted to be a part of Brevard Chiropractic & Injury Center and is dedicated to helping everyone feel better through massage.
